Frequently Asked Questions

  • After exploring the offerings, the first step is to contact me with your needs and questions. We'll start with a free consultation to determine the scope and details of our collaboration, with flexibility to customize based on your budget, timeline and goals.

  • Timelines vary by the depth of the project and your pace. Some people complete a short-form legacy project in a few weeks; others work on a full memoir over several months. You set the speed — I provide the support.

  • One of Story Studio’s unique strengths is its singular point of collaboration: you work directly with the founder Caroline, the person who guides your vision from the earliest concept to the finished work. Instead of being passed between editors, media teams, and project managers, you have one creative partner who understands your voice, your goals, and the emotional core of your story. This streamlined, relationship-driven approach allows for trust, clarity, and a cohesive final product—something large, multi-layered services often can’t offer.

  • MEMOIR WRITING sessions and workshops offer instruction, tools and practical support as you write your memoir.

LEGACY PROJECTS provide the recording of life stories during guided conversations, and from those conversations we help shape the writing and editing of books or stories and eventual publication. Legacy Projects can also include oral histories and visual media, all tailored to your vision and life story.

  • Not at all. Story Studio is designed for all experience levels — from people who have never written a word to those with a library of completed manuscripts. The focus is on meaning and expression, not perfection.
